Men took over two airports in the Crimea region of Ukraine. The new Ukrainian government seized and described the move as an invasion and occupation by Russian forces. The Russians denied any involvement with the seizing that occurred. Crimea is the only region in Ukraine that has the majority of Russians. It was their territory until it was transferred to Ukraine in 1954 which was during the Soviet era. The elected president, Viktor Yanukovycg is in Russia on the 28 and was expected to hold a news conference. While that went on , the united states was rejecting claims that the change in power in Ukraine constitutes a coup. I feel like we should hear more about this because it might have something to do with the united states. I also think airports should have more procedures done before people walk into airports to avoid things like this. In my personal opinion that would be a smart idea. Last Thursday around forty two people died in Iraq. A motorcycle rigged with explosives blew up around a secondhand market in Sadr City, Baghdad. At least fifty one people were injured. In another attack in Sadr, a bomb was planted on a minibus killed five people and wounded around fourteen. There was more than one thousand six hundred and fifty people who have been killed so far this year in Iraq. There is about six hundred and eighty people who have been killed since the beginning of February.  I do not understand why people can make explosives and want to kill so many people, especially people who have done nothing wrong. There was almost seven hundred people killed in one month. I fell like our government should try to help in anyway they can, unless it is our government that is doing the bombing.
