                                                                 Movie Paper

           The movie that our group decided to choose was A Place at the Table. When choosing the movie we wanted it to discuss important statistics and facts about hunger in the world. My group and I held a showing of the movie on campus. The film that we showed was about hunger and America. It showed different families and the way that the deal with poverty and hunger. The video allows people to think about their own families and the people sound them. It is a film that is very relatable. I think that when people view this video they can get a better understanding of how others live and get more informed on this common issue. The documentary is very informational and it is good for my group. 

        I think that our movie was very informational to the public. I think our movie showing was a success. The point that we wanted viewers to get from this showing is to bring awareness to hunger. Even though this event was a success there are a few things that we learned in the hopes that next time the outcome will be better. If we have more time to promote the showing of the movie. We had people who showed up to the movie but I think if we had a larger audience then we would have been able to bring more awareness to the issue. The next time that we decide to do a movie showing I think it would be more effective to promote it in a larger way. We could even set up a showing outside and maybe we can get more students and faculty to attend. Another thing that we can do is invite more of our friends and family to attend the event. Word of mouth is a very effective way of people learning about events. I think that film is a great tactic to help with an issue. It provides people with visuals as well as information. Overall I think that the video was a success.
