Documentation of March 4th Rally
The March 4th rally is a social movement protest where our groups came together and marched around Fresno State. Prior to the event our class' groups worked on making signs to carry during the march. These signs consisted of slogans that were short yet still got the point across. We as a group had a good time doing this. What was interesting is how I have no drawing capabilities what so ever but I believe the signs turned out great. On the signs I wrote Money equals freedom and the criminal injustice system. Since the protest march consisted of five different social movements. It seemed difficult for people to understand what the protest was about. With all these different sayings on the signs, they seemed to confuse people more than they helped them. The march began at the free speech area of Fresno State and continued on past the high school classes, onto Shaw Ave, through the dorms, and finally ended back at the free speech area. I had a great time chanting my groups cause to any person that we passed during the march. The only things that I might change for the next march would be the time of day that we had the march and maybe have the protest rally about one specific cause. This was the most fun I've had during a class almost ever.
