France: Scores Arrested as Up to 220,000 Protest Labor Reforms
220,000 people in France began protesting on the streets against the labor reform that's giving all the power to companies to conveniently fire workers with less problems. The protest is also directed towards the direct cut of overtime for truck drivers. Truck drivers on the day of the protest began blockading roads and police began firing tear gas and water hose at the protesters resulting in 87 people being arrested. This law according to one of the protestors is a law that would cripple the working people, young, old, and retirees. The whole article highlights resource mobilization as the protestors have organized a protest due to the frustration of an unjust law passing.
