Boarding between Macedonia and Greece over ten thousand refugees lay stranded since the shut down of boarders in February not allowing them to enter Central or Western Europe. This past Sunday, Macedonian police used tear gas, rubber bullets, and stun grenades at the refugees on the Greek side of the boarder. Greek condemned this behavior of the Republic of Macedonia. A refugee name Mohammed stated he has never felt like more of a prisoner in his life and has felt a worse oppression trying to enter Central and Western Europe than when his country was at war. The ten thousand refugees are using resource mobilization by gathering thousands of refugees to have their demands met but unfortunately led to police intervention by use of tactical means. They lay in Greek refugee camps waiting their future but no comments have been made.

An organization by the name Democracy Spring has lead a civil occupation on our nations capitol this past Monday and has greatly portrayed the power of the American people. They had a massive sit in on our nations capitol sparking a strong police reaction resulting in the arrest of over four hundred protestors. While the arrest were perhaps made on the basis of civil disobedience the organization used framing, resource mobilization, and political opportunity to get their message to nations leaders. The leader of the group Kai Newkirk led a chant politically framing their demands shouting and chanting "The American people won't take this anymore! We're going to end this corruption! This is just the beginning!" By having over four hundred people arrested they clearly have used resource mobilization to show our nations leaders it's not just one man standing up for what is right but hundreds of people have the same mindset and fight fore the same issue.
