In these pasts campaigns many of Donald Trump supporters have been committing violent acts against other protestors. Therefore, Trump stated that "nothing condones … I don't condone violence." He is specifically stating this after an incident in North Carolina where a Trump supporter punched an African-American protestor in the face. He even instructed his staff to look into the incident to see if the supporter needs any help in paying legal bills. Anyone opposed to this is taking advantage of the political opportunity that this presents and demonstrating furthermore the values that Trump believes in. Not only that but anti-trump supporters are gaining more popularity with incidents like these because they are able to further persuade bystanders to take a stand on the issue. We can clearly see this in the organized protest by thousands of people who made Trump cancel a rally at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Hillary Clinton Has Big Night; Media Moves to Silence Bernie Sanders Campaign

In this news article by Democracy Now we see that during Tuesday, March 15 when the presidential candidates were doing their speeches in Arizona, only one candidate was cut out. Right when Bernie Sanders was going to give his speech "Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC all declined to cut away to his speech and continued to run the pundits' commentary and graphics promising they would soon go to Donald Trump's speech." Of course Democracy Now ran Senator Bernie Sander's speech and he speaks about how we are a democracy and insults against different groups of people will not be tolerated. I feel that the opposition of Bernie and those for Trump are using resource mobilization to take advantage of the news media to run what they would prefer, versus running everyone fairly. Of course this is a huge resource to have and like many know these news anchors are all owned by specific people and companies who have a set agenda.
