Explosions Rock Belgian Capital Brussels, Killing Dozens
ISIS Takes credit for the attack on Belgium's Airport and metro. So far there are 30 dead and around 177 injured. This happened at the International airport in Brussels and metro station, by 2 suicide bombers. Police are looking for a possible third. They showed a picture of a man in a white jacket and hat that may be related to the incident.
New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and several other Large cities in the United States are on alert and are taking precautions in case we come under attack. President Obama made an announcement from Cuba giving support and condolences to Belgium.
Belgium officials have shut down the nuclear plant, all businesses and schools and has put everything on standby. Te attack came just four days after the arrest of Salah Abdeslam, suspected home grown cell leader for ISIS. We don't know if it is related to this incident but he was plotting a another attack that much is known. ISIS flag was found at the bomb site. It has been discovered to be a nail bomb and chemicals.
Abdeslam was found just one block away from his birth home, with two others. Police stumbled upon them when they were investigating the location that the three were at. Officials found explosive devises, guns, and ammunition.
Brussels Prime Minister, Michel, condemned the attacks. He said they were cowardly and called for everyone to stay calm and stand in solidarity. The attacks in Paris happened in May. Now we have to ask ourselves, where next? And when? ISIS gains the win if people live in fear and become paranoid and disorganized. WE have to stand strong against them and condemn their acts of violence.
