Democracy Now: The GOP Response to Belgium? Torture and the "Patrolling and Securing" of Muslim Neighborhoods

Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Donald Trump give their responses on the Belgium attacks. Ted Cruz said that the U.S. needs to empower law enforcement to patrol and secure muslim neighborhoods before they become radicalized. He also adds that Europe's immigration laws have failed and that, that has allowed a massive wave of radical islamic muslims into Europe. Meanwhile Donald Trump urges to do more than just waterboarding to the suspect of the attacks. He adds how we in the United States work within laws and how they have no laws, and if they could expand the laws he would do a lot more than just waterboarding to get the information. Donald Trump also adds how in order to get the information from these people we have to be strong, smart, and we can't be weak which Trump states we are weak right now. One of the guests during the interview after listening to the responses of Ted Cruz and Donald Trump said how America has two of the dumbest politicians running for president. He mentions how Europe is not waiting for Ted Cruz to give policy advice, and he also calls Donald Trump an idiot because what does he know about foreign policy. Frank Barat, another guest invited to the show mentions how ridiculous they sound on so many levels. He adds both politicians should get better informed on the use of torture how it's actually pretty useless in getting sort of information from terrorists. Barat also adds how  most mainstream politicians are not interested by the facts, otherwise they would completely change their policies.
