One of the biggest problems going on in America is the sexual harassment that goes on in schools. It is not only big but it's growing bigger and bigger every day that there has been a lot of talks, but not much has been done to prevent it or to secure children, women and young students. The Obama administration has released a list of 55 colleges and universities that are under investigation for possible violations of the federal Title IX law of their handling of sexual assault complaints. There are many schools that have kept everything under wraps because they want to avoid media scrutiny and drought in their enrollment. Students at Tufts University are protesting the many things that have happened and all of those rapes that have been reported but have not done anything to bring justice to those predators. It is really unbelievable how many deans and even presidents of various prestigious universities that are not doing thing that they pledge to do when they take the office or when they promise the students and their parents that they would be safe while at campus.

In Salisbury, Md. A 15 year old girl was sexually assaulted in the hallway of her high school. Students, teachers and public officials wonder how the crime could have occurred while most students were still in class. It is really something that makes people wonder a lot of things such as why there are not cameras in the hallways, why no teacher came to check on each kid after being away from the classroom for a while. Many questions are lingering ones brain as the story unfolds but the real question is what can we do to stop all of the sexual harrassmetns? There might not be an answer but there are solutions like installing bathrooms in every classroom and providing more sexual prevention classes, just to name a few. What kind of direction are the schools heading to, because this kind of harassment is becoming a common occurrence.
