The first article talks about an immigrant who was shot and killed by a US border agent for throwing a rock. This is ridiculous because even though it is threatening to throw a rock it is not compared to a bullet. You are most likely not going to die from a rock. This agent, in my opinion, acted maliciously and out of anger towards the immigrant. The Department of Homeland's Security inspector general found that US border agents have been involved in 20 fatalities since 2010, nearly half for non threatening occurrences such as throwing rocks. The second article talks about the immigration reform which has been promised but yet to happen for over 5 years. Cristian Avila from Arizona fasted for 22 days in order to get the president's attention but Obama made no reference to him and kept the topic of the reform to a vague passage. Immigrants including students deserve justice and the opportunity to live peacefully now.http://www.democracynow.org/2014/1/29/five_years_of_the_same_rhetoric
