Despite the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, affirmative action, and the court-ordered integration of schools, there seems to be resegregation happening in our schools, plus the ban of affirmative action in our universities. A report in ProPublica found that integration never completely happened at all. Segregation is still happening with the removal or isolation of poor Latino and Black students.
