This video report covers a student movement from the Stanford University which their board of trustees voted to stop investing in coal mining because of their concerns for climate change. Stanford's endowment was over 18.7 billion dollars and their decision was based off of other movements around the US. In the previous weeks students from Washington University were arrested after a 17 day sit in where they were calling on the school's board of trustees to cut their ties with a coal industry. Also students from Harvard participated in a similar event blocking off the office of the Harvard's presidents. It's interesting to see ivy schools like this participate in social movements. One of the country's most prestigious school and one of the world's largest endowments is now supporting to stop fossil fuels which hopefully sets an example to many other people to join the movement.

In this second video report we see a coverage of sexual assault on college campuses. Lena Sclove from Brown University was raped and strangled last August in 2013. Her alleged rapist was responsible for 4 violations against the student conduct code and his punishment was only suspension for one semester.  When Sclove tried to appeal for a harsher sentence her request was denied. She suffered a cervical spine injury that didn't allow her to walk for two months and the semester she recovered to come back to school was the same semester her rapist was allowed to go back to school as well. Sclove spoke out by holding a press conference on her campus last week. Her alleged rapist decided to not return back to school after a lot of news reports discussed the issue releasing his name.
