This video report cover a story about a mother and a daughter who are "marijuana refugees". Madeleine is 9 years old and has been suffering  from multiple seizures in a day since she was 5 years old. Madeleine and her mother lived in Virginia where medical marijuana is illegal but moved to Colorado in hopes of getting her daughter medical treatment. Her doctor in Virginia recommended that Madeleine have brain surgery which remove her whole left side of the brain. Her mother refused and found hope in other stories of seizures being treated with hemp oil. From all the seizures that Madeleine had been through her inability to learn had been affected. She could not read or even do simple math like one plus one at the age of 8. Ever since being on medicinal marijuana she has made large improvements in her learning ability and her seizures have reduced to one every few months compared to hundreds in a day. In such cases as these I think the state that they live in should make exemptions for the use of medical marijuana. It could possibly save many lives rather than banning everyone from the use of it in their state and forcing them to move where marijuana is legal.

This second video covers an activist that has been found guilty for assault on a New York officer. The incident took place in March of 2012 as protesters tried to re-occupy Zuccoti Park six months after the Occupy Wall Street movement began. Cecily McMillan was arrested after she struck an officer in the face leaving him a black eye. This was an act of self defense when Cecily reports that she was being grabbed in her right breast from behind. After being pinned down from officers she suffered from a seizure and she was later treated for post traumatic stress. During her trial defense lawyers showed proof of bruising around her chest but when the verdict was reached the case rejected Cecily's defense pleas and she was handcuffed and taking to Rikers Island where she awaits her sentence. Cecily could face up to 7 years in prison. This is completely unfair especially since there was proof that it was a self defense act. This just proves to show along with many of other cases of how unfair our criminal justice system is.
