Movie

The films that we showed were Default: The Student Loan Documentary and College Inc. We were able to advertise for this event through all of our other events that we held. When we did the tabling event we were able to advertise then and when we did the chalking/ flyers we were able to advertise it. I designed the flyers that we handed out for the two films. I was able to design the flyers on a word document and showed it to my group to see if they liked what I had done. They ended up liking it and that it was we ended up using. We were able to hand out these flyers to people on campus. In addition to handing out flyers, we were also able to send out emails to our fellow classmates along with the email list that we were able to obtain during our tabling event. This event was able to be accomplished through all of our other events. If it wasn't for our other events we probably could not have gotten the word around like we did. I think that the movie was very interesting and it talked about a lot of great stuff. I think that we had a decent turnout. If I were to do it over I think that I would have advertised it a lot better. I think that if we handed out more flyers and posted more around campus we could have generated a better turnout. Also, I think that if we would have chalked more around campus about the film we were showing maybe more people would have shown up. For the most part, however, I think that it went very smoothly and it was a great film.
