The Senate Intelligence Committee has voted on releasing parts of a report of the Bush administration's torture and rendition program. The panel had voted eleven to three on Thursday to declassify about five hundred pages of the more than six thousand page report with the summary. They CIA are going to review the finding before they are released. People fear they might redact large portions. The report caused a problem between the CIA and senate panel. The Committee Chair Senator Dianne Feinstein accused the CIA of spying on Senate staffers and deleting some of the files. McClatchy reported that the Senate prude concluded CIA officers illegally detained twenty six prisoners that was not approved by either the CIA headquarters or the Justice Department. Reading this got me really upset because our CIA that is suppose to protect us is taking people prisoners without having permission. In my own opinion I feel this is so wrong. I do not understand why the CIA can do something like that and cover it up without people knowing. In other shot and killed by an Afghan police while her colleague had been wounded. Ana Niedringhaus, was at the age of forty eight. He died instantly in the attack near the Pakistani border. It was reported my AP that reported Kathy Gannon Survived. They believe this is the first time an Afghan police office intentionally killed a foreign journalist. This is upsetting to me because the Afghan police officer had to right to kill the reporter. I understand that journalist can get on people's nerves and piss a lot of people off by what they write or when they try to get information, but that is no reason to kill someone. Some people just do not realize that their actions can cause a big problem and can hurt others.
