During the week of march 1 - 4, SNARL(spay, neuter, adapt, rescue, love) Animal Rights group prepared posters, completed flyers and wrote scripts for the upcoming March 4 protest.
The posters were shocking, as one was a headstone with a colored picture of a pile of euthanized cats (very sad) we included statistics that every 13 seconds an adoptable dog or cat is euthanized. We also had a tri-fold information board for the table with color pictures of various related topics of adaption, rescue, and information.
We spoke to a lot of people. We had to make more copies of our flyer as it was full of valuable information.
We had people wanted to give cash for the cause and we had a sign up sheet for people who wanted to join our group.
I think the flyers were awesome and had both information and resources. The posters and tabling went very well.
We were not prepared for the level of success that we had and we ran out of flyers.
I think the things I would change is the number of flyers printed and also the scripting interaction between myself and people sometimes was not a smooth and I would like it to have have been.
