                                                                                           Protest                                       

This is the first time I attended a protest. For me it was a great experiences and super fun! I had never imagine that I would ever do something this exciting. Even if the protest was a classroom thing and for us to experiences and learned I think it connected us to what we love and want to be in the future for the reason of what we advocated for. We all had different topics but we were as a team and work together which I think it was the most interesting. I love the fact that while we were protesting there was students that would join us on the way to our protest. Even before the protest I would see how everyone was super excited doing their posters and enjoying the day making friends and meeting new people. I think us as a group did great because we grab more attention with our cause because one of my peers was wearing a banana costume. He was in the front with us leading the whole protest so I think that was out of the ordinary because no one else was wearing or grabbing attention as we did. The purpose of the banana was because we were protesting for Food Awareness and want FOOD FOR ALL that is what we named our cause. Some of the things that could of used some improvements where the time we protest. I personally think that it was too late and most of students had already left campus since it was on a Friday. Also, the route I think protesting all Shaw would have been better to let everyone know because I am sure students, staff, and just people in general driving through Shaw would see our event. In addition, I think having like speakers and bells and any kind of things that would create noise and grab more attention would have been great as well but I know that we were short in time to prepare everything and that is why a lot of the stuff we were not prepare enough for everything to be perfect, but we tried and did it which that is what counts the most I believe. Overall, March 4^th for me was a great experience and if I was able to do it once again I would and also the same topic I would choose again. I learned a lot and I for me this has been the most fun and great experiences I have had so far in Fresno State since I been here.
