Glenn Greenwald: Is It A Coup? What Is Happening in Brazil is Much Worse Than Donald Trump
This story was about Brazil facing its worst political crisis in over two decades as the opponents of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff attempted to impeach President Dilma Rousseff on corruption charges. But Rousseff is refusing the fact that she has started any corruption, she has given people no proof of such action. The people who are giving the wrong store and delicateness of their conviction of the process of impeachment, she also basically because she knows she is clean of any accusation she will not cooperate. In some ways why would she commit such crime under the constitution when she is the President, but in the other hand why not because of her power she can get by because she is the president. To condemn someone for a crime that they did not commit is the greatest violence that can be committed against any person. It is a brutal injustice. It is illegal. saying the impeachment proceedings against her amount to undemocratic attempts by the right-wing opposition to oust her from power. As of Wednesday March 23, the former Brazilian President Luiz InĂ¡cio Lula da Silva called the impeachment proceedings against Rousseff an attempt to use the situation and use it to her advantage. As Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald. His piece, "Brazil Is Engulfed by Ruling Class Corruption—and a Dangerous Subversion of Democracy," recently was published by The Intercept. As for the people speaking they have said they are tired and want a fresh start but with a new president, thinking what the possibility is with Dilma running a gang in power, the people are tired. Lula deserves to be in jail. That's what he deserves.
