Human Trafficking: Movie Event

Our group Free All Bodies decided to choose Rape For Profit as the documentary to show during our event. Deciding a documentary to show on this topic wasn't quite easy because there's a lot of good movies for this topic. A couple of my group members posted flyers throughout the social science building to spread the word that there would be a movie being shown. On the flyer it also said that there would be free pizza since people like pizza and because we thought that would attract students to attend our event. The day of the event all my group members were there and 3 other people who saw our flyer and were interested on the social issue. We had hoped many more people would've came, but oh well. At the end of the film we had discussion time and discussed the major issues being portrayed in the documentary. Also our group shared what we thought was the most interesting about this documentary with the social issue on human trafficking. If you haven't watched this documentary I encourage you too, it gives you a better understanding on how so many young women are victims of human trafficking and how some when they grow up are still scarred from their past.
