The Russian attack on Crimea has led to a pullout of NATO support for the Russian nation. The NATO Russian council and the partnership for peace repealed their stance with Russia due to Russian military operations in Crimea. NATO made their point clear; they would not support Russia in the invasion of a sovereign nation; however, the spokesman said they have kept all lines of diplomatic communication open should the Russian ambassadors decide it's time to talk showing their interest in coming to a reasonable accommodation for peace. In response Russia has begun to pull out several of its armed forces in the Ukraine and Senator Kerry called it a welcome change and sign of good faith on Russia's end. Russia and America both stand to lose if an accommodation is not met; therefore, both parties involved in this dispute are eager to settle conflicts.
Oceania science laboratories ordered to focus on harsh weather by a bill passed by the republican controlled house. The scientists argued that this bill was a way of telling them to focus on the harsh weather without focusing on the cause of it which they feel is global warming. In an address to the world by the U.N council spokesman Rejendra Pachauri stated that no citizen of the world would be unaffected if an attempt to control and reduce greenhouse gasses was not implemented soon. The international center for climate change upholds this warning. According to IPCC reporter there is no question of global warming seeing as how we are already living in a climate changed world; however, if nothing is done many ecosystems and human lives can and will be lost as a result. Reducing emissions from greenhouse gasses can at least keep the change down if our current change at two degrees Fahrenheit is maintained the world will still feel the affect in terms of agriculture. If the degrees go up to four degrees in change many people will die.
