Trump Vows to Sue NY Times in Latest Show of Disregard for Freedom of Press

 

            Trump is an idiot. Man, it's remarkable how he gets away with this shit. Donald Trump is campaigning and advocating for opening libel laws which would allow anyone to sue the media, press, or journalist who write articles that are found to be false or slandering. This might not sound so bad but imagine it from Trumps' mouth… yea point proven. If he's elected and if he gets this crap approved, he could manipulate the media so easily it would be laughable. All he would have to do is is sue them for every story and drown media outlets in lawsuits and litigation, thus intimidating the media into bending towards his will. Perfect example of framing is accomplished.  

 

In Obama's Backyard, Father of 5-US Born Kids Seeks Sanctuary in Chicago Church to Avoid Deportation

 

         This one is interesting to me because it's framing from the get go on the part of democracy now. The fact that this man is in "Obama's Backyard" ha nothing to do with the actual story but whatever, I digress. This article looks at a man who has five natural born kids in the U.S. but the government wants to deport him for a DUI he got seven years ago. The story gained publicity because he declared sanctuary in a local church… which happened to be in Hyde Park Chicago where spent some time growing up. Anyways democracy now is gearing this story towards making Obama look bad by saying, "He's now the president that has deported the most people in U.S. history." However, they should just report the facts. The facts are bad enough without media outlets adding their own twist of fraing.
