March Fourth- March Protest

I attended the event on campus to spread the awareness about human trafficking along with other groups that shared their social movement. Protesting is a great tactic to spread the message about our cause. The HUMAN TRAFFICKING march was to educated people and bring awareness of the hidden biases that human trafficking has. Our groups gathered the signs that we created for the march. We had sign like " Say no to Human trafficking", we also had statistics on Human trafficking. Once, we picked up the signs we started marching all over campus towards shaw ave. We started shouting " No to Human trafficking". One girl in our group chanted " every 5 seconds someone is sexually assaulted" she kept shouting statistics. Other groups, shouted there social movements, we had a big group protesting different social movements. A lot of the people driving around the street, supported our causes, they honked. The protest was a new experience for me. This definitely broke the norm as I never did any   kind of protesting before. I was glad that I was able to get this opportunity to protest on important issues. It felt good to get involved with the community and make some noise.
