Protest 3/5

For the protest, I actually had a lot of fun. And I felt more energy after the "Raging Grannys", some of the lyrics stood out to me epically the "Uterus" song. When everyone started to gather around with their picket signs with powerful messages I felt very accomplished and already felt like I was making a difference. When we started to walk, my group and I started to chant "Free all bodies", although we did not have practice with it as we did with Tabling, I think we did all sorts of well. We continued down to the Joyal building chanting all together as a class. Once we started to get the hang of it, my group and I would decide on what to say and we would count to three and chant it out, when we would see crowds of people we would chant it louder and proud to be doing so. It would even give me the chills. And as the protest went along down Shaw we started to chant for our fellow classmate groups, "equality for all" "Food for all" "free all bodies" "Adopt don't shop". Along the way we got honks and chants towards us in a good way and "Woo hoos" from people passing by. Together we can make a change.
