Black Lives Matter

In the movie, "Black Lives Matter" there were many highlights of framing. One example that depicted framing was the recorded videos of the cops who used excessive force and killed innocent African Americans. The recordings were used to negatively portray the cops as killers adding on to the movement Black Lives Matter. Political opportunity was also present especially with the murder case of Trayvon Martin in 2012 that created the Black Lives Matter movement. The unjust ruling of the court system that ruled not guilty to the policemen that killed Trayvon gave the African American community a political opportunity to create the Black Lives Matter movement. An example of resource mobilization can be seen when The Black Lives Matter evolved into a national issue with the help of social media. The spread of its message influenced the rise of thousands of people to take a stand with the movement and spread its message.
