Even though I have served and done two tours in Iraq, I will be backing the protesters in Yemen. It is not just because Americans feel threaten but we are the ones killing blameless families, children, and the elderly. If the military would only focus on the ISIS and other terrorist people the people of Yemen will not hate us and maybe even help us in our fight against ISIS. One very good question that Sarah Leah Whitson, executive director of human Rights Watch's Middle East and North Arica Division as to say about this. Is why doesn't anybody care? I can tell you why and it's because it's not in our back yard. That's the bottom line. We Americans hate anyone who is from the Middle East, and in reality it doesn't really affect us as a whole. One other thing is that the Obama Administration has been at war on terror for over 13 years now and the only consequences have ranged from the disastrous to the catastrophic. Furthermore in one of my readings I have found out that there is evidence to suggest Qatar's regime is quietly funding Isis and instead, Britain is arming Qatar's dictatorship. There are selling them millions of pounds worth of weaponry. Also let's not forget about the U.S secret drone program in which we are funding this and killing innocent people. When the drone strikes the families in these villagers they are now an intense anger against the U.S more than ever and before the main push of the war on terrorism. Focusing now on back on Yemen and the nearly 10 million children and to mention the 320,000 who are at risk of severe acute malnutrition in Yemen alone. Let's not forget the children in U.S, China, Mexico, India, and other third world countries. With all this money going to fight terrorist we could help feed all these children. In conclusion, I feel very upset with President Obama that he has used the drones more than bush has been in his eight years in office. Furthermore let's not put the whole blame on Obama. Remember that the political failures in Yemen has a lot to do with its own problems there.
