This was actually my first time to participate in something like this.  I have always wanted to do it but never actually got the opportunity to do it.  I didn't make a poster or anything and I regretted it after I have seen what some of the posters looked like that some of my own classmates did.  I will do this again and actually make a poster this time.

The elderly women, I forgot what they call themselves, were just amazing and funny.  I loved how the three songs that they sang were about women equality.  I actually got a poster that was already made that was for women equality and on the back it had a female figure and a male figure with an equal sign in between them.  When they would be singing, I noticed that they all were into the song but one of the elderly women stood out to me that most.  She would be swaying side to side and snapping her fingers to the side.  She was in the very front, did most of the introductions of the songs and was wearing a purple hat.

The march was very fun, going around campus.  There weren't a lot of people out on campus so that was a bit of a bust.  When we got to the sidewalk on Shaw, people in their cars would see us and honk.  We went through the dorms on campus, it was pretty funny.  I saw a couple of people that would look out there window to see who was doing all the noise.  We probably woke them up from a nap.  I would have liked to have the march go longer, even though I was hot and I also would have liked to go to different places either on campus or off.
