poll push

 Push Poll
When me and my group conducted this push polling we used a website called Catishack to dial random numbers, so that we could ask people to take surveys. Catishack did a great job of calling a lot of people who would answer the calls, but some people didn't take the surveys. For the few who took the surveys they were asked to answer questions based on pre-trail expansion. Some of the questions asked the participant on opinions they had about pre-trial expansion. One of the questions asked the participant "do you know about the prison realignment program?" The results indicate many of the participants didn't have knowledge about the program. Another question asked the participants had to do with individuals being detained while awaiting trial and how it affects tax payer dollars. Results of this question showed over 52% of the participants answered that they agreed and were aware. After the participant were asked the question "Are employees exempt from termination of employment if detained for a long time?"  the two responses to this question were close in numbers. 47% of respondents answered true and 53% of participants answered false.
The most predominant race was the Hispanic group they represented 55% of the sample. The second highest race percentage to participate in this study was the White/Caucasian (23) group. The Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American, and Black/African represented 5% of the sample.
