The article "War tax Resisters Mark April 15 as a Call to Stop Military Spending", discusses a protest on Americans paying tax dollars in order to fund the war. Americans were upset that there hard earned federal tax money was going to war instead of helping to fund other important issues. April 15 is the last day for Americans to file for taxes so protesters thought that this would be the perfect day. The article also mentions how costly the war has been and the dent in federal taxes. After reading this article it makes me think about where my tax paying money goes to. It also brings to my attention that the money is used to fund the war. It is interested because money is necessary to fund military because military is very important. However we have many other very important areas that need funds from the government.

In the article "19 arrested Protesting Deportions Obama Blames GOP For Stalling Reform" discusses the record amount of deportations that occurred in this last year. There has been two million immigrants that have been sent back to their country. Protesters stood outside a jail in New England ti fight for the cause. The protesters included immigrants goals were to help get a bill to pass a federal immigration law. I thought this article was very interesting because the topic is very realistic. Especially in California we face issues and debates concerning deportation and immigrants. I was shucked to see as many as two million people has already been sent back to their mainlands.
