In one of the articles that I have read is about a former president of Liberia. Charles Taylor. First of all he was he president and he supported rebels. How he forced thousands of people to have their limbs cut off, rape little girls and women and forced children mostly kids to became soldiers. The rebels helped or financed him through so called "conflict diamonds". In his six-year term of horrific abuse as president of Liberia. During may of 2012, A special court sentenced Taylor to 50 years in prison for aiding and abetting the Revolutionary United Front, a rebel group against Sierra Leone. Since this is the first time to convict a former head of state since Nuremberg, this was sending a signal that no matter who you are the long arm of the law will always catch you, maybe not now but later. The world is increasingly intolerant of whose who exploit their positions of power to commit serious crimes. Taylor's conviction is a small measure of justice for the thousands his crimes terrorized. So my conclusion of is writing no matter where you are or how long it has been you will always be caught.
